Finale! Wee Nam Kee Chicken Rice

It was a great pity we did not managed to get our hands (and tongues) on the Founder's Bak Kut Teh since it wasn't opened at the time we passed by the eating house. Thankfully, Balestier area is swamped with good food and we still had a hearty dinner at Wee Name Kee after completing our 3-hour trial!

The famous Chicken Rice stall is seated directly opposite the Novena Church, just the perfect location to end our trial and fill our growling stomachs! We were so hungry that the food got wiped out before the camera could get a shot of it. So, aww! Sorry that there's no picture of the food, but still, we highly recommend you to try it! :)

And what a relief, after all that walking, this sentence was to us all! We benefitted greatly both physically with the exercise we had, and cognitively gaining new insights of the Balestier area.

We hope you enjoyed your tour with us! :)

  1. Thanks to all of you for writing up on Balestier road. I have been living here for almost 30 years, didn't appreciate these sites and building until now. Great photo shots, good layout and I had fun reading the articles! Keep it up guys! -David
